Who We are:

Still Waters Ministry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing safe housing for youth aging out of foster care. Through a Christ-centered community of tiny homes our aim is to help young adults successfully transition into independent living by providing discipleship, practical life skills, meaningful community, and ongoing support.

The Heart Behind Still Waters

Garrett Ross founded Still Waters Ministry with a vision to create a Christ-centered, safe, and supportive community for youth aging out of foster care. Through a village of tiny homes, residents will have access to stable housing, discipleship, mentorship, life skills, and the resources they need to build independent, fulfilling lives centered around Jesus.

After falling deeply in love with Jesus through His Word, Garrett and her husband, Patrick, both felt a burden to care for orphans but they had no idea what that might look like.

The catalyst for their conviction came when Garrett built her first tiny home. It wasn’t until a few weeks into the project that the vision for Still Waters Ministry settled into her spirit.

Driven by her faith in the Lord, her passion for woodworking, and her heart for serving others, Garrett is working alongside an incredible team to create more than just tiny homes they are cultivating opportunities, restoring hope, and helping young women build brighter futures.
